What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coding, optimizing, and supporting APIs & Java/web applications
- Performing unit, integration, and system testing
- Designing, implementing, and integrating RESTful web APIs
- Troubleshooting, supporting, and enhancing developed applications
- Collaborating with team members to solve technical challenges
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
- 8 years of experience in designing and developing applications in Java
- 3 years of experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Extensive experience in Java/J2EE, REST web services, JPA, and unit testing code coverage
- Knowledge in developing shell scripting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript
- Experience in web technologies such as Node.js and Angular
- Experience with front-end applications using JavaScript, Angular JS, JSON, jQuery
- Knowledge in application servers such as JBOSS/Tomcat
- Experience with build and integration tools such as Maven and Jenkins
