What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze, design, and implement enhancements to meet business requirements
- Perform technical and root-cause analysis on issues and recommend corrections
- Promote development practices such as test-driven development and DevOps
- Champion the current frameworks built to automate and modernize the application
- Participate in other related activities and deliverables as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience with Java-based application development using Eclipse IDE, preferably with Oracle RDBMS
- Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience with RDBMS databases and solid understanding of SQL
- Experience in supporting applications with high-criticality, availability, reliability, and security requirements
- Experience with Findur or Endur; strong background in financial technology platforms may be considered
- University degree or college diploma in computer science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated experience with Agile projects (SCRUM)
- Experience with performance testing and financial applications/systems
- Familiarity with data warehouses
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and GitHub
