Job Title: Test Operator

Job Description

As an Equipment Tester, you will be responsible for testing JLG lift equipment on an outdoor track and documenting the work being done on a log.

Responsibilities

• Test JLG’s lift equipment on the outdoor track
• Operate machinery such as forklifts, skid steers, and bulldozers
• Ensure all equipment operates correctly and safely
• Load and operate equipment on a tower at 52 feet
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Be free of depth perception issues that are not correctable by glasses
• Be comfortable with heights

Essential Skills:

• Ability to operate machinery (e.g., forklift, farm equipment, industrial equipment, construction, automotive)
• Mechanically sound, with the ability to check oil levels and change tires
• Experience operating heavy equipment
• Experience with forklifts, skid steers, and bulldozers
• High School Diploma or GED

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working for landscape companies or on farms operating equipment
• Comfortable working outdoors in inclement weather
• Free of depth perception issues that are not correctable by wearing glasses
• Comfortable with heights

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Orrville, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr.
