- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for VR applications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Conduct thorough testing of VR modules across various devices, identifying and documenting defects, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and product owners to understand project requirements and provide feedback on product functionality and user experience.
- Implement best practices for quality assurance in VR development, including automated testing frameworks and performance benchmarking.
- Perform regression testing and validate new features, ensuring compatibility and functionality across different VR platforms and devices.
- Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and present findings to stakeholders, providing actionable insights for improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends in VR technology and quality assurance methodologies to enhance testing processes and outcomes.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members, if needed, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Must-have Skills:
- Experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on testing VR applications and devices.
- Proven experience with VR hardware, including Metaquest, Pico Neo, Oculus, HTC Vive, and other immersive technologies.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, including performance and usability testing.
- Proficiency in scripting languages for automated testing and familiarity with testing tools specific to VR applications.
- Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience in educational game development or serious games.
