What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of team personnel to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery
- Provide technical leadership to the team for engineering design and construction functions
- Manage team productivity and ensure project closure and invoicing are completed
- Interface directly with clients or contractors to ensure alignment with project scope
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and mentorship to team members

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline with 3+ years of experience in the utility industry
- 0-2 years of supervisory experience
- Thorough knowledge of electrical distribution assets or communication equipment construction
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to read engineering drawings/schematics

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- Professional Engineering (PE) License and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience within the Joint-Use industry and knowledge of FCC Guidelines
- Familiarity with financial analysis and departmental budget management
- Experience with pole loading or construction modeling software, such as AutoCAD
