What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze intelligence data to assist in the development of actionable leads for cyber, criminal, and national security operations
- Conduct forensic financial analysis and develop financial profiles of individuals involved in suspicious activities
- Perform data visualization and link analysis related to financial crime investigations with a cyber nexus
- Utilize various analytical tools to trace virtual currency transactions and support investigations
- Create and deliver briefings to U.S. Government agencies regarding financial and virtual currency threats

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher with a concentration in Finance, Intelligence, Investigative Analytics, or Accounting
- Minimum of three years of dedicated experience in tracing virtual currency transactions in investigations
- Experience with virtual currency and blockchain technology, including proficiency in analytical tools like Chainalysis or CipherTrace
- Current TS/SCI clearance and ability to pass FBI security suitability and polygraph requirements
- Experience in analyzing records from Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) to identify investigative leads

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification or training directly from the tool developer for blockchain analytical tools
- In-depth knowledge of emerging payment systems, including digital and cryptocurrencies
- Experience in identifying virtual asset transactions associated with advanced techniques like mixing platforms and services
- Proven ability to methodically document tracing and analytical work conducted
