Job Title: Journeyman Plumber

Job Description

We are seeking a Journeyman Plumber to oversee plumbing repairs, maintenance, and new construction at an industrial manufacturing facility. This role involves troubleshooting industrial plumbing and piping systems, and reviewing building plans and specifications to determine the layout and troubleshooting for piping systems, piping controls, and related components. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with PCS, steel, carbon, and other types of piping and pipe systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct plumbing repairs, maintenance, and new construction in an industrial manufacturing facility.
• Troubleshoot industrial plumbing and piping systems.
• Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout and troubleshooting for piping systems, piping controls, and related components.
• Work with PCS, steel, carbon, and other types of piping and pipe systems.

Essential Skills

• Journeyman plumber license.
• 4+ years of plumbing experience.
• Experience in an industrial setting.
• Valid Journeyman or Master License.
• Backflow certifications.
• Blueprint reading.
• Installation and brazing.
• Mechanical skills including pipe installation, conduit bending, and threading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Construction and electrical knowledge.
• Experience with water retention and water drainage systems.
• Experience with hazardous waste piping.
• Knowledge of plumbing/fire protection and pipe fitting.

Work Environment

The work is located at an industrial manufacturing facility. The available shifts are as follows: 1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri, 2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm Mon-Fri, 3rd Shift: 11pm-7:30am Mon-Fri, 4th Shift: Fri: 7am-3:30pm, Sat & Sun: 7am-7:30pm, Mon: off, and 5th Shift: Fri: 11pm-7:30am, Sat & Sun: 7pm-7:30am, Mon: 11pm-7:30am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Flint, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $72800.00/yr.
