- The Junior Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud security features, metrics, and tools within V2X cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc). This includes working with the infrastructure team to implement, configure, and maintain programs and features such as Microsoft DLP, system baselines, cloud architecture schema, and the 3rd party connections into those platforms (MSSP, MFA, etc).
- The Junior Cloud Security Engineer would be responsible for identifying and maintaining least functionality (and security permissions) on all cloud resources, as directed from the information security manager.
- The Junior Cloud Security Engineer would also help clean up and manage useful and configurable reports/data for the Information Security Manager on the current status of security features in each cloud service in the V2X network.
- Deploy and maintain DLP (and other advanced security features, as identified/implemented)
- Maintain System baselines and least functionality
- Maintain MFA (and other security features, as identified/implemented)
- Keep V2X current with evolving cloud security maturity and standards/practices
- Work the Infrastructure team directly to incorporate security features of cloud products/services
- Education:
- Associate's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained
- Experience:
- 1-3 years working with in a cloud security role for an enterprise environment
- Familiarity with NIST-171 and other DoD standards and compliance (preferred)
- Other Requirements:
- CompTIA Security+ (required)
- Microsoft Certified Security Operations Analyst Associate or other relevant cert (preferred)
- Technical information Security Cert [CEH/SANS/CISSP] (strongly desired)
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Skills & Technology Used:
- Some knowledge of AWS
- Microsoft Azure (including Azure AD)
- Microsoft SAML/SSO MFA
- Microsoft Office 365
- Exchange/Exchange-online
- Experience working with hybrid environments (Cloud/on-prem)
- HyperV/VMware experienceRapid7 IDR and IVM (preferred)

- Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
