      Job Description

      We're seeking an entry-level Customer Support Engineer to join our expanding team. This role is crucial in creating and maintaining document templates that power our platform's automation capabilities. We're looking for individuals eager to learn and grow into technical roles, as we provide comprehensive training and development opportunities. Applicants should have some familiarity with programming, but professional experience is not required.

      Position Details
      • Type: Hourly position
      • Location: Remote
      • Hours: Flexible, typically 20-40 hours per week (to be discussed during the interview)
      • Salary: $20 - $30/hr to start, with growth potential


      Key Responsibilities
      • Create, fix, and manage document templates using docxtemplater syntax
      • Update client configurations, including form questions and workflow steps
      • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality solutions and fixes to support clients' ongoing needs
      • Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
      • Be available to work


      Required Skills
      • Exceptional Microsoft Word skills, including advanced knowledge of tables, margins, and complex formatting
      • Strong attention to detail, especially in document formatting and structure
      • Ability to understand and work with logic problems (e.g., "If this, then that" scenarios)
      • Excellent communication skills, crucial for our remote work environment- Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage tasks independently
      • Basic programming exposure (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, CSS)
      • Strong desire to learn and grow in a technical role


      Preferred Skills (Not Required)
      • Familiarity with Git version control
      • Experience with IDEs like VS Code
      • Basic understanding of programming concepts
      • Knowledge of insurance industry processes and documentation
