      Jr Regulatory Specialist Flavours – Your future position?

      Did you finalize your Bachelors or Masters Study in Food Regulatory, (Bio)Chemistry or Toxicology in the past few years?

      And would you like to develop yourself in Food Regulatory and Innovative Data Management?

      Then this is your opportunity to start as a Jr Regulatory Specialist Flavours.

      In this job you will be working in a team that realizes regulatory process innovation. You will assist in development of regulatory policies, data, process and system enhancements for all our Regulatory colleagues in Europe. You will provide data analysis and systems support for these colleagues in order to ensure that all ingredients and products information is stored correctly and timely, according to company’s policies.

      The position is based in the Netherlands (Naarden close to Amsterdam) and reports to the Regulatory Lead for Excellence and Innovation Europe.

      We will initially offer a contract for 1 year.

      In this exciting role you will do the following:

      Data Management

      • Support, generate and request IT Impact Assessments and/or SAP queries for regulatory or industry changes of Givaudan flavour ingredients or products .
      • Review and update new food and flavouring regulations and customer requirements into systems in coordination with local Regulatory Manager
      • Communicate closely with global key stakeholders in Regulatory, Toxicology, Formula Management, Operations and Purchasing regarding changes that could impact data management activities
      • Perform data cleaning using existing methodologies, find and resolve data discrepancies by using data cleaning methods and researching regulatory databases, customer data, etc.
      • Support data integrity function by collecting, organizing and validating (via regulatory databases, customer questionnaire, etc.) the reliability of data from internal customers, literature, and analyses

      Training & Development

      • Maintain and update the schedule of learning events, so that the most current information is available to employees.
      • Maintain and update the tracking of completed learning for use in reporting training KPIs
      • Assist in developing standard operating procedures and training material for use in training new end users in regulatory and related systems.

      Communication

      • Support in communication projects, based on previously approved regional communication strategies
      • Support the development of regulatory presentations; helps to create other communication documents;

      Your professional profile includes:

      Academic Background

      • University / Bachelor’s Degree in scientific or technical area
      • Scientific or technical degree, preferably in Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry, Toxicology, Regulatory or related degree (i.e. Pharmacology)

      Technical Skills

      • Fluent English
      • Affinity with data and database management & systems administration
      • Effective interactive and communication skills
      • Basic knowledge of international food, food additive or flavour regulations preferred
      • G ood listener and attentive to internal customer needs
