What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Work as an Electrical Engineer within the Traction Power Engineering Department
- Prepare engineering design drawings, specifications, reports, and studies for electrified battery electric bus depot projects
- Perform onsite inspections, physical measurements, and field reports
- Attend factory tests, site commissioning tests, and prepare field reports
- Interface with clients, utility company representatives, and other departments within the company

What is Required (Qualifications):

- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering (emphasis in power systems preferred)
- Valid Engineer-in-Training (EIT) preferred
- Experience in the design of ac and/or dc BEB / EV charging equipment and power distribution systems in the electric utility or transit industry
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with others
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Intermediate level proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation
- Ability to learn and use commercial ac power system analysis software and circuit analysis software
- Ability to follow safety rules related to on-track safety and OSHA regulations

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

- Skills related to project management and monitoring project budgets using Earned Value Analysis
- Knowledge of project proposal preparation
