Your new team

This position sits in our Global Travel Retail business. Global Travel Retail is one of the Group’s largest markets, bringing Pernod Ricard brands to life in the exciting and innovative Travel Retail channel which includes duty-free, cruise ships & border shops around the globe. This role is in the Travel Retail EMEA commercial finance team, a team of 5, with close collaboration across different functional teams

Your unique contribution

You will have six main areas of responsibility:

• Business partnering with TR EMEA Commercial Team across a range of topics and customers
• Financial support to marketing teams
• Supplying in depth, insightful commercial and financial reporting, and analysis across customers within perimeter. The output should inform and understand our performance towards influencing the trajectory of the TR EMEA business.
• Contribute to Commercial Finance Reporting responsibilities within TR EMEA.
• Continued development of models and templates to ensure robust financial planning
• Support Revenue Growth agenda within TR EMEA
• Support of Commercial Finance Manager across various tasks

The key tasks include:

• Provide commercial team with support on annual customer negotiations, building P&Ls to calculate volume and financial impact of price increases, changes in funding levels and new listings. This will include many updates following customer feedback and “what if” analysis
• Provide support for commercial team on promotional analysis and key reports, including, rolling forecasts, budgets, stock trackers and many ad-hoc requests
• Co-ordinate the creation of team presentations for perimeter and present to commercial team across many topics, including business performance by customer, brand and sub brands
• Contribute to delivery of the Rolling Forecasts, Risk & Ops and monitor/analyse key variances, whilst ensuring timely and accurate delivery
• Contribute to monthly BU report, including comments on customer volumes/depletions performance, outlooks and stock holding. Participate in “Hot Topic” on an Ad-hoc basis
• Contribute to group reporting when appropriate, including regional presentations as per perimeter (e.g. Northern Europe, Southern Europe, MENA, EMEA-LATAM)
• Continued development of models and templates to ensure robust financial planning (Rolling Forecasts, Stock Trackers, Pricing Files…);
• Support Revenue Growth agenda within TR EMEA (Particular focus on trade terms collection and IWSR reporting, as well as RSP guidelines, Price increase guidelines during negotiations)
• Support Commercial Finance Manager across various tasks, including month-end variance analysis, leading 'deep dive' investigations into key emerging or unexplained trends feeding into forecasting cycles
• Collaboration with commercial finance team members across various tasks, projects, and initiatives
