What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of broadcast equipment at radio sites
- Perform FCC compliance tests and document results for broadcast equipment and stations
- Collaborate with Field Engineers on maintenance, construction, and administrative tasks
- Develop and validate technical documentation adhering to company standards
- Travel to remote sites for installations or repairs as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of broadcast equipment assembly, diagnosis, and repair
- Ability to use basic and advanced test equipment and hand/power tools
- Strong communication and technical writing skills with proficiency in English
- Proficient in MS Office products and capable of developing complex Excel worksheets
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- SBE Certification is desirable
- 3-5 years of experience in broadcast equipment assembly, diagnosis, and repair
- Ability to solder and desolder electronic components
- Good understanding of applicable FCC rules and regulations
