Responsibilities:

Halal Certification

• Managing the process of obtaining and maintaining Halal certification for Bekal (foodpanda's halal food delivery). This includes conducting audits, monitoring, and assessments to ensure constant compliance with all Halal standards and related regulations.

Compliance Monitoring

• Monitoring and evaluating all aspects of food delivery process, including but not limited to; order dispatch, vendor onboarding, sertu process, halal traceability and marketing communication to ensure adherence to Halal requirements and guidelines.
• Ensure halal policy and standard operating procedures (SOP) are in compliance with Halal requirements.
• Monitor halal compliance of Bekal riders, and front-end/back-end system.
• Verify halal vendors onboarding process.
• Report, submit and maintain all related halal compliance requirements to IHC Chairman.

Record Management

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records related to Halal compliance, including certificatin documentation and updating vendor records in back-end systems.
• Record all documents and activities related to Halal Assurance System (HAS).
• Maintain and update HAS manual according to the requirements of MHMS 2020 and effectively implemented.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of working experience in Halal processes.
• Previous working experience in a halal certified company is ideal, but not necessary
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
• Proactive and independent
• Good level of English (written and spoken) required
• Able to multitask well
