What we need!
We are looking for a talented individual to join our Audio team as an entry level Junior Sound Editor. You will be working on Documentary and Light Entertainment projects at the Picture Shop, London. This is an early careers position and there will be training given but candidates will need to have some specific pre-existing understanding and be able to demonstrate and apply their sound editing knowledge to TV audio post production.
What Training to expect!
Training will be given in all the supporting software needed to sound edit at Picture Shop. You will be trained to record Voice Over working in the studios with clients. There will opportunities to mix and progress through the department.
This is an incredible opportunity to become part of one of the largest and busiest audio departments in the UK. You will be exposed to a huge variety of different projects and technical processes. You will have the full support of the audio department and as we develop new technologies and practices, you will be given full training.
What we need you to do!
Our Junior Sound Editor will be involved in taking a show from an AAF to a finished, ProTools sound edit that is ready to go into a studio to be mixed. You will need to be able to liaise with directors and mixers about the correct approach to a sound edit be able to work in a team and respond to feedback on your work and approach.
