What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Speak with consumers over the phone who are experiencing emotional distress or mental health issues
- Building rapport and engaging with clients
- Assessing risk and documenting information during calls
- Providing available resources and information to callers
- Identifying safe coping strategies and developing safety plans

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in a behavioral health field (MSW, PsyD, PhD, or MA, MS with a clinical practice emphasis)
- Licensed as a limited or fully licensed social worker or counselor according to state licensing board requirements
- Reside in Michigan and hold at least one of the following licenses: LLMSW, LLC (aka LLPC), LLP, LLMFT, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LLP, or LP
- HIPAA compliance knowledge and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication and multitasking skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in crisis intervention or counseling services
- Familiarity with community mental health centers, behavioral healthcare organizations, or employee assistance programs
