Job Description

The Food Service Supervisor at Hillcrest Medical Center is responsible for overseeing the Food Service department/Cafeteria and ensuring that the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained. The role involves managing the daily operations of the department, including scheduling, training, and supervising staff. The supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Food Service department/Cafeteria.
• Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Schedule, train, and supervise staff.
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage both AM and PM shifts, with a focus on PM shifts (1pm-9:30pm).
• Work Monday to Friday and rotating weekends.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of large batch cooking experience.
• 1.5+ years of lead or supervisory experience.
• Good work history.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior healthcare experience.
• Experience in large university dining or campus settings.

Work Environment

This role is set in a healthcare environment where you will encounter a variety of situations. Customer service is a top priority, and the facility is equipped with cameras to ensure a secure and productive workplace. You must be willing to roll up your sleeves and assist with all tasks, including dishwashing, to maintain the facility when needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.35 - $21.35/hr.
