What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Speak with individuals over the phone who are experiencing emotional distress or mental health issues
- Build rapport and engage clients
- Assess risk and document information during calls
- Provide resources and information to callers
- Identify coping mechanisms and develop safety plans

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in a behavioral health field (MSW, PsyD, or PhD) or a master's degree (M.A. or M.S.) in behavioral health with a clinical practice emphasis
- Licensed as a limited or fully licensed social worker or counselor according to state licensing board requirements

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in crisis intervention or telephonic counseling services
