      SEHLKE POSITION TITLE : SME (I, II, III, IV based no career ladder)

      LOCATION : NCR (remote until COVID restrictions are lifted); Travel under 25%

      JOB DESCRIPTION :

      Provide client-side SharePoint development and knowledge management support services for the operations & maintenance, development, and oversight of a large defense health agency. The purpose of this support is to develop, maintain and manage automated solutions for the collection, configuration, and display of client project and performance improvement data in support of a large data analytics support team.

      Knowledge Management/SharePoint Development:

      Provide information to system specialists on data required by project leads, project sponsors, performance improvement practitioners, and team members assigned to performance improvement projects and events.

      Conducts functional system testing during the implementation of system changes to ensure solutions meet requirements.

      Manage content, design, and maintain the DHA SharePoint standards for multiple sites, content, styles, and guideline. Create libraries for standard context (text, graphics, audio, and video). Test and verify applications and webpages before publishing on the web. Creates and tests hyperlinks to connect pages of related information.

      Manage graphics, audio, video, scripts, applets, or applications to display performance improvement information. Review and converts data into website formats (i.e., HTML (Hypertext Markup Language), PDF (Adobe Portable Document Format), MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and graphics (GIF, JPEG, BMP, PNG)).

      Establish procedures for controlling electronic master documents, posting formal document changes, and keeping auditable records of changes.

      Maintain permission groups, including creating new permissions groups for the client.

      Resolve issues and maintain user system permission levels.

      Possess a high level of proficiency in the use SharePoint 2013/O365, SharePoint Designer 2013, InfoPath 2013, All JS/jQuery APIs, Client-side JS coding, Modern HTML5/CSS, Firefox, and Chrome. Hard coding skills are required for design applications.

      EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS : List any required education.

      Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Management OR appropriate experience and/or certifications to complete the tasks as described below.

      • Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience such as management consulting or performance improvement.
      • Possess a high level of proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft SharePoint Designer workflows and MS Excel integration.
      • Possess a thorough understanding of SharePoint 2013 through current version features, capabilities, and limitations from a Site Collection Administrator perspective. Should understand SharePoint versions both on-premises and DoD government cloud delivery such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Office 365.
