Overview

A wonderful Greenwich, CT based family of three is looking for a Spanish-speaking nanny to add to their ROTA schedule for their 2.5-year-old daughter. The role will be live-in for two weeks and live-out during your two weeks off. The daughter still wakes up occasionally, so someone who has experience with sleep training is a plus! The live-in accommodations will be a private bedroom and bathroom for the two weeks you work. You must be able to travel to New Zealand with the family for 2-3 months in the Winter (the time will be split between both nannies). The household is quiet and low-key so the candidate should be able to keep to themselves and not be chatty.

The ideal candidate will be warm, loving, and will have a college degree. A background/certification in early childhood education, development, or psychology is a plus! Their previous nanny spoke Spanish with their daughter, so it is a requirement that the nanny be fluent in Spanish. The main responsibilities will include keeping their daughter on a consistent schedule, healthy meal prep, preparing educational activities, reading with the child, fostering and monitoring developmental milestones, encouraging good sleep habits, researching activities and classes in the area, arranging play-dates, ordering supplies for the child, taking them to doctors appointments, and completing the bedtime routine. A candidate with a background/prior experience or the willingness to learn RIE is a plus! The candidate must be up-to-date with all vaccines (e.g., TDAP, flu, COVID, and subsequent boosters). The family is looking for a long-term fit and offers a competitive salary, depending on experience and a medical stipend. The candidate must be fluent in Spanish, be passport ready to travel, and ok to work/travel on holidays. Flexibility is key!
