What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Organize, dispatch, and follow up on all lab orders in designated areas
- Review phlebotomist schedules and assign orders based on priority status
- Maintain communication with phlebotomy management throughout shifts
- Handle client calls and account issues as needed
- Execute additional tasks as required by management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency in common computer procedures and dispatch techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in dispatch, lab, or logistics environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare-related service
- Certification in medical terminology
- Additional training in dispatch procedures
