Summary of Job Duties:

As a Lab Support Technician this position receives specimens from all sources and verifies that each specimen has proper collection and labeling. This position verifies that each test is received in the correct tube type. This position sorts all specimens and place them in the proper racks to be received. This position will load racks on the appropriate automation line to be received in and tested. This position will scan specimens into the EPIC system and re-label the specimens as needed.
