What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Speak with consumers over the phone, connecting with individuals in crisis and providing emotional support
- Build rapport and engage clients effectively
- Assess risk and document information during calls
- Provide necessary resources and information to callers
- Identify safe coping mechanisms and develop safety plans when needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in behavioral health field (MSW, PsyD, or PhD) or a master's degree (M.A. or M.S.) in behavioral health with a clinical practice emphasis
- Licensed as a limited or fully licensed social worker or counselor according to state licensing board requirements
- Reside in New Mexico and hold at least one of the following licenses: LMHC, LPCC, LMSW, LCSW
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and listening skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in crisis intervention or counseling roles
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and remote work
