      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct interviews with clients and consumers to gather information and provide support
      - Provide legal research and writing assistance to attorneys and advocates
      - Assist in representing clients at mediation and administrative hearings
      - Engage in legislative analysis and contribute to policy advocacy efforts
      - Participate in training sessions and outreach events focused on disability rights

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Must be currently enrolled in a California Bar-accredited law school
      - Ability to commit to a summer law clerk position for 10 weeks, generally from June 02, 2025, to August 08, 2025
      - Strong writing skills, demonstrated through a brief writing sample (10 pages maximum)
      - Interest in working within various practice groups related to disability rights
      - Availability to work remotely or hybrid, depending on assigned team needs

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Fluency in Spanish for roles within the Fair Hearing Project (FHP)
      - Previous experience or coursework related to disability rights or advocacy
      - Familiarity with legal research tools and databases
      - Demonstrated commitment to social justice and equity initiatives
      - Interest in community engagement and outreach related to disability rights
