What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct legal research and review laws, court decisions, and legal authorities
- Collaborate with judges to prepare legal memoranda and assist in drafting court orders
- Attend court sessions to observe proceedings and document case information
- Perform courtroom duties such as calling the calendar and assisting in documenting proceedings
- Carry out administrative tasks within the judge's chambers

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduation from an accredited law school at the time of employment
- For Law Clerk I (student): Bachelor’s degree and current enrollment in an accredited law school with at least one year completed
- Knowledge of laws, court rules, and legal terminology
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups, including attorneys and pro se parties
- Proficiency in using personal computers and legal research software
