- Req#: 58463
- Repair leaking components consisting of valves, piping, tubing and flanges
- Generate work requests and follow-up on LDAR maintenance repairs.
- Complete Management of Change (MOC) checklist for LDAR applicability.
- Maintain record keeping on monitoring and repairs.
- Ability to interpret P&ID’s for proper identification of components
- Maintain identification of LDAR components and applicability reviews.
- Coordinate LDAR field activities with LDAR contract technicians.
- Performs other daily operation and maintenance tasks of a routine nature.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
- Complete OGI inspections
- Complete LDAR monitoring as needed
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must live/relocate within 1 hour of reporting location
- 2 or more years of oil and gas operations experience
- 2 years or more experience in maintenance and repair
- Valid Driver’s License
- Possess thorough knowledge of the safe operation and usage of hand tools required to maintain natural gas components
- Ability to work in dynamic and busy work environment and maintain a high level of detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Willing and able to with or without reasonable accommodations:
- Works extended hours, which may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Works safely near large, hot, high-speed machines.
- Work inside gas plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity
- Work in loud environment
- Regularly stoops, squats, kneels and crouches for durations up to 30 minutes
- Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the gas plant
- Lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Occasionally exerts pulling force of 130 pounds
- Occasionally may climb ladders
- Work from heights
- Completion of Tech school program
- Work experience in mechanical maintenance, instrumentation and electrical maintenance, or measurement
- 2 or more years of LDAR monitoring experience
- Familiar with CMMS maintenance tracking software
- Basic knowledge of OGI Inspections for fugitive emission leaks.

The LDAR Technician is responsible for operational, mechanical and instrument\electrical functions; such as inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations. This work includes such activities as supervising/directing field crews, maintaining regulated natural gas processing plants, compressor stations, and pipelines in compliance with contracts, regulations, and safety considerations, coordinating with on-site contractors, and ensuring cost effective and safe operations. Employee(s) in this position may have some environmental or safety activities associated with their responsibilities.

CompensationThe base pay range for this role is $76,500 - $98,000 depending on a candidate's relevant work experience and education.
