Job Description

- 1 year of experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role, preferably in a casino or hospitality environment, and a High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and often demanding environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in a casino environment, which may include exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise.
- Supervise and guide the work of EVS Attendants, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and mentor EVS Attendants on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
- Schedule and assign daily work tasks to EVS Attendants.
- Monitor employee performance and address any concerns promptly.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure cleanliness standards are met throughout the casino.
- Perform cleaning tasks as needed, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and restroom cleaning.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment for all employees.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests and colleagues.
Cherokee Casino Fort Gibson is hiring an Environmental Services (EVS) Lead Attendant to be responsible for leading and supervising a team of EVS Attendants to maintain a clean and inviting environment for guests and employees throughout the casino. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
