- This position will assist in the supervisor of work and performance of clinical medical assistants, to include providing input towards performance reviews and corrective action plans if needed.
- It will oversee and train new and existing staff along with the assistance of the RN Manager.
- This role will also perform the responsibilities of a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant such as: Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician.
- Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
- Clinical duties may include rooming patients, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited Certified Medical Assistant Program
- BLS required within 30 days of hire
- At least one year of supervisory experience in a clinical setting
- Certification: Required
