Job Description

C&R Software is seeking a dynamic and experienced writer to join our team. As a key member of our marketing and communications group, you’ll play a pivotal role in crafting compelling narratives and effectively communicating our brand value proposition in the financial services software industry.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Storytelling: Develop and invigorate engaging storylines that resonate with our target audience, conveying complex concepts in accessible, layperson terms.
• Content Creation: Oversee the creation of a wide range of content, including white papers, social media posts, product sheets, podcast, and video scripts, ensuring consistency and alignment with our brand voice.
• Collaborative Excellence: Thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to capture and communicate our brand's essence effectively.
• Humanize ChatAI and Human Expertise: Leverage the synergy between ChatAI and human writing prowess to seamlessly integrate the best of both worlds, crafting authentic, brand-fitting and quality content that embodies our unique identity.
• Out-of-the-box Thinking: Bring fresh and innovative perspectives to our messaging, challenging conventional approaches to create memorable and impactful content.
• Edit Existing Content: Improve SEO ranking, readability, and relevance.
• Use Target Market Data as the basis for A/B messaging testing and channel use.
• Conduct client research to understand user needs and amplify solutions.
• Win awards: write submissions that win awards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• 8-10 years proven experience in copywriting, within the financial services or software industry is another plus.
• Exceptional passion for writing and storytelling.
• Proficiency in conveying complex topics in clear, relatable language.
• Experience with various content formats, including white papers, social media, product sheets, podcasts, video scripts and more.
• Strong collaborative skills with an ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• A strategic thinker who pushes the boundaries of creativity.
• Understands the writing process and respects delivery deadlines.
