- Maintain training curricula through review of existing training plans, change impacts and lessons learned. Will assist in validating training audience, approach, and scope.
- Lead training design and delivery experience using adult learning methodologies/programs, authoring tools, and learning management systems integration including planning, scheduling, project communication, issue resolution. Utilize various training technologies such as: Articulate Storyline, Enable Now, an evaluation tool, SharePoint and learning management system. Assess how learning can meet business needs and recommend solutions that support performance and behavior change.
- Develop course outlines and training material for various delivery methods including instructor-led training (ILT), web-based trainings (WBT), on-the-job training, coaching guides, practice labs, job aids, and system demonstrations by leveraging business process maps, business process procedures, change impacts and business input in partnership with the business process owner, local subject matter expert (SME) and training lead.
- Manage stakeholders and subject matter experts (including process owners, technical partners and business trainers) in the content development process, ensuring alignment, engagement and expectation management.
- Drive unknowns into clear outcomes through ideation, thought partnership and putting options on the table for iteration.
- Ensure materials meet the learning objectives and adjust as necessary.
- Determine updates to training content due to system or process changes and keep training materials up-to-date.
- Update the Learning Management System (LMS), as necessary.
- Support trainers during classroom and lab activities with training logistics including materials, training environments, training IDs, and scheduling. May also be a physical presence in training to support the trainers.
- Participate in the planning and execution of the Train the Trainer program to prepare Power User trainers to deliver and facilitate classroom training.
- Work with a translation company to translate training materials (if applicable for the audience).
- Track and report on progress of training development.
- May manage vendors in the external development of learning materials, video or media including negotiation and evaluation.
- Train business trainers to deliver training using materials created.
- Partner with process owners and trainers to assess development needs, source solutions, collect feedback and evolve learning and development program offerings.
- Support WP owners manage training processes including continuous improvement, process updates and enablers/templates.
- Lead training initiatives/strategies for Accelerate training team (e.g. live site support, development tool strategy, improvement projects).
- Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of equivalent experience required. Degree preferred in training, business, quality or related field.
- 4+ years professional experience required in the areas of adult education, instructional design, learning and development or related fields in a team-based environment preferred
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple training projects simultaneously required
- Demonstrated experience of adult learning, instructional design, e-learning and training methodologies required
- Demonstrated excellence in customer relations and building strong and influential relationships at all levels within an organization; problem solving and proactive service orientation required

What you will do -
The Lead Instructional Designer will create and maintain training and performance support materials for the Accelerate ERP program, including: classroom, virtual, e-learning and on-the-job. In this role you will focus on creating and leading learning experiences both in and out of the classroom. In this position you will be a member of the Accelerate training team.

This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
