Qualifications

Essential

• oDegree/Diploma in Optometry
• oRegistration with the GOC

Desirable

• oAccredited teaching qualification
• Competencies in Glaucoma
• Masters/PHD in Optometry

Previous Experience

Essential

• oExperience with highly complex paediatric cases
• oManagerial experience, clinical/administrative duties
• oUnsupervised work
• oEvidence of Professional Development

Desirable

• oPrevious work with students/ mentorship
• oSpecial needs
• oParticipation in department research and audit
• oService development
• Experience of working with Stroke patients
• Experience with glaucoma patients

• oAbility to work in multi skilled environment
