Monmouth Medical Center is seeking a Lead Patient Transporter to join the team! This is a Full Time opportunity.
The Lead Patient Transporter transports patients and hospital related items in a safe, efficient, courteous manner, practicing high-quality service throughout the Medical Center. They will coorindate the daily functions of transporting patients. They are responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc. They exercise supervisory authority and independent judgment in directing employee labor. They will make recommendations regarding the ongoing performance evaluation of supervised staff and resulting actions (i.e. reward, discipline, discharge, etc.).
