      Lead Project Controller

      Based Cheadle, Bristol or Templecombe– hybrid 3 days in the office

      Our Opportunity

      Thales Under Water Systems (UWS) are looking to recruit a passionate and driven Lead Project Controller to join an exciting Submarine Project Management team based in Cheadle, Bristol or Templecombe where you will provide support in the delivery of our customer commitments.

      You will be responsible for ensuring that the Programme operates as ‘one team’ and has a consistency of approach across the various programme management activities, including schedule, cost, change control, document management and risk/opportunity management. On behalf of the Programme Manager and the Sector PMO Manager, the jobholder will be responsible for the Programmatic Drumbeat and all associated project controls governance in order to ensure successful delivery.

      This role will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held; if not currently held it is expected that the post holder will undergo SC Clearance, please visit the UKSV website for further guidance.

      About you

      • ·You will have strong experience in project scheduling and project control skills

      • Experience with using scheduling applications such as Primavera application, MS Project for robust scheduling, project control reporting and impact analysis
      • A track record of building strong relationships with key stakeholders and leading in complex environments;
      • Comprehensive understanding of generic processes and techniques used to schedule Programme activities (WBS, OBS, milestones, dependencies , EVM);
