      How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

      • Delta Tech Ops division is seeking a Lead Supply Attendant, who will be responsible for carrying out the normal day-to-day activities associated with the warehousing and distribution of parts in support of maintenance activities. All operational activities are performed in accordance with FAA, DOT, and Delta procedures and policies, some of which include the handling of HAZMAT, maintaining shelf life, static sensitive parts, as well as other aircraft part requirements. The Lead Supply Attendant is responsible for the effective communication with Materiel Management personnel as well as Maintenance personnel.

        Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):

        • Responsible for the front line leadership of a shift or area.
        • Maintains optimum operational performance through assigned personnel.
        • Ensures the completion of administrative responsibilities, as well as operational responsibilities which may include arriving early to tour the area, receive turnover from the previous shift, and make necessary adjustments with the Shift Manager and fellow Leads to begin shift.
        • Stays on the shift until adequate turnover has been provided to the oncoming shift.
        • Responsible for parts ordering, receiving, binning, shipping, packaging, maintaining inventory control and integrity.
        • Ensures inventory control and integrity includes processing parts changes, managing appropriate inventory levels, managing allocation, and maintaining a neat and orderly operation.
        • Works efficiently and is self-motivated with little or no supervision.
        • Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

      What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)


      • Should have experience in warehousing and parts distribution
      • Must have a valid driver's license.
      • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
      • Must be at least 18 years of age.
      • Must be authorized to work in the US.
      • Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screen.
      • Must be able to read and write English and comprehend and apply information contained in technical documents and manuals.
      • Should possess a working knowledge of personal computers; a knowledge of SAP functionality is preferred.
      • Should possess the ability to meet deadlines with high productivity and accuracy.
      • Must be a team player with focus on customer service.
      • Must be able to work well with others.
      • Must be able to work in a safe and compliant manner, without close supervision.
      • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
      • Should have strong organizational skills and be able to respond to changing or multiple work demands.
      • (If transferring internally) Must be currently performing satisfactorily in present position.
