      The role is in Vestas Development with an anchor to Group Tax.
      Vestas Development is a newly established business unit within Vestas that brings new growth while supporting the existing business in all project development aspects. The function's main responsibilities are to originate and develop new wind and hybrid projects across the globe via its own resources as well as via development partnerships that are established and supervised by the group.

      Responsibilities
      You will be the Tax Business Partner to the Development team. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

      • Business Partnering – providing advice tothe management team in Vestas Development as well as the Regional Development teams
      • Advising on tax issues across tax topics (CIT/CGT, TP, VAT), including support and monitoring for compliance work across a large portfolio of SPVs with support from Group Tax subject matter experts
      • Ensuring a focus on tax implications arising from all business activities in Vestas Development
      • Responsibility for the overall tax governance in Vestas Development and adherence to the tax strategy including Tax analysis for entries into new markets
      • Structuring of new investments globally
      • Presenting to the Vestas Corporate Structure Committee, representing Vestas Development
      • M&A support as part of the deal teams
      • Assessment of tax risks together with local advisors and Vestas Finance locally


      Qualifications

      • Experience from an international company - for example from one of the Big 4 or a similar position in an international organisation
      • +4 years of professional experience
      • Great understanding of international tax law
      • Experience in effectively implementing new SPVs in different countries
      • Experience from an international company
      • Good stakeholder management skills

      • Good understanding of the workings of a support function in a global company
      • Good organizational skills and ability to work to, and sometimes implement own processes
      • Motivated,enthusiastic approach and an open-minded attitude with adaptability to different business and cultural environments
      • Collaborator and innovative
      • Have a positive personality, and the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
      • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written (English)
      • Presentation of advanced tax information to management groups
