      Leakage Targeting Analyst

      Location: In East Anglia region

      Contract: Permanent/Full Time

      Starting salary : dependent on experience and skills

      Who we are

      Integrated Maintenance & Repair (IMR) Alliance – Part of the Anglian Water network, focuses on infrastructure maintenance work and is responsible for: water network pressure management, finding and fixing leaks, replacing lead pipes and repairing burst mains.

      What you will be doing

      Our top priority is to find and fix any leaks in our system – and to help plug leaks at home and at work too. Every day we have 300 people finding and fixing leaks, and spend £14 million each year driving down leakage.

      As a Leakage Targeting Analyst you will be working with the data we use in the leakage team to help us meet our leakage target as efficiently as possible. Leakage data is held using various mediums so when carrying out analysis you will need to be able to interpret existing datasets, identify how they are used within the business processes and provide clear feedback to stakeholders on your findings. As a Leakage Targeting Analyst you will drive improvements in data quality by auditing, maintaining and cleansing the data in our leakage systems.

      Part of this role is to develop expert knowledge as to how the water network operates, including a detailed understanding of where the water goes from source to tap and ensure that corporate systems are updated to reflect this.

      Consumption Analysis – Working with existing data models to ensure that customer consumption is fully understood and reported into the water balance and understanding how new sources of consumption data can be used to develop existing consumption models.

      What qualities and behaviours are we looking

      You’ll be enthusiastic, hardworking and ambitious with a real desire to drive your career forward. Have 2 Years analytics experience – specifically roles using data to report and analyse performance measures.

      Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

      In addition to this a greater understanding of cyber security, GDPR and how these play a part in the handling of data coupled with experience of managing stakeholders.
