Technical Acumen (Learning Development): Possess a current and working understanding of relevant learning development technology such as eLearning development software, digital support technology, video/audio production tools and learning management systems.
Visual Design: Ability to use graphic design, visual layouts, and user experience design to effectively combine visual and contextual information to effectively reach an audience.
- End-user Empathy: Views the world through the end-user lens leveraging a current and objective understanding of target audience and end-user based on data, research, and feedback.
- Creativity: Ability to generate a variety of ideas, concepts and solutions that are novel or innovative; thinks outside of the box and thinks about problems or issues in new and different ways using imagination to better solve problems.
Detail Oriented: Ability to be accurate, organized, thorough, and productive while driving pace.
- Prior experience in video creation and editing, audio editing, visual design, and communications.
- Experience using e-learning tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe or other video editing and audio editing platforms.
- Effectively collaborates with Instructional Designers to create engaging and effective e-learning materials.
Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills to keep pace with quality work.

Every day the team creates and delivers learning materials that prepare our audience for change and connects the audience to the State Farm brand and culture in an effort to reach more customers.
We are looking for eLearning Developers who possess the technical skills to create online training materials for a broad audience. This role is essential in order to create engaging and effective learning solutions that meet the needs of modern learners.
An eLearning Developer should be able to:
**This position will be a Hybrid work arrangement located in Bloomington, IL; Dunwoody, GA; Richardson, TX or Tempe, AZ. Remote work arrangements will be considered for qualified applicants that live outside of the 4 listed locations. Relocation benefits will not apply.**
For Colorado, Hawaii, and Washington state candidates (potential geographic difference may apply):
Salary Range: $75,260.25 - $117,000
Potential yearly incentive pay up to 10% of base salary may be available
For California, New York, and Connecticut state candidates (potential geographic difference apply):
Potential salary range: $75,260.25- $128,700
Potential yearly incentive pay up to 10% of base salary may be available
