      What you will do:

      We are looking for a Learning & Organizational Development Specialist who can help shape our vision and support our mission. Here is what the position will look like.

      • Conducts learning and organizational needs assessments to identify areas for improvement.
      • Develops and designs learning and organizational development interventions, weighs the needs of short-term and long-term initiatives to align the prioritization of organization wide and achieve department specific outcomes. Clearly communicates strategies to internal partners, builds consensus and prioritizes interventions to align with COA’s strategic priorities.
      • Facilitates change management activities to achieve goals/organizational key results (OKR)s, improve resource utilization, create efficient processes and adopt technologies, to streamline the implementation of contracts, accreditation standards, employee engagement activities, etc.
      • Provides targeted one-on-one and team performance coaching to employees as needed or requested.
      • Manages the planning, coordination and facilitates the implementation of learning interventions across the talent development cycle from new hire onboarding, upskilling, reskilling, career pathing and succession planning.
      • Ensure consistency in learning content and methods across the organization. Formulates educational objectives in support of Colorado Access’ program operations, mission and values, and determines instructional methods to best meet the needs of individual departments and staff.
      • Creates learning content and outlines, facilitates training, and determines appropriate instructional methods to meet adult-learner needs, including, but not limited to: live, instructor-led training, online education, coaching, learning tools and resources. Ensures logistics and trainings meet or exceed both internal and/or external (government) policies/requirements, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies.
      • Reviews, evaluates, and modifies existing and proposed programs; recommends appropriate changes. This includes creating evaluation processes to measure the effectiveness of learning and organizational development initiatives.
      • Fulfills administrative duties as required by contract legislation and certification requirements.
      • Participates in activities that expand the organization’s presence in the community, including membership on boards or committees, attendance at meetings, and collaborative efforts with other programs in Colorado and ties this work to COA’s core values and DE&I initiatives.

      What you will bring:

      Education : Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, organizational psychology, adult-learning, training, or healthcare preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute with a preference for five years progressive relevant work experience.

      Experience : Three years’ experience in the organizational development and/or learning industries. Previous experience in a health care setting such as hospital, health insurance company, care management organization, etc. highly preferred.

      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Must possess strong analytical skills including artificial intelligence (AI), data assessment and informed decision making based on data, excellent organization skills, attention to detail and communication skills. Requires experience creating OD and learning strategies in line with OKRs and strategic priorities. Experience in learning industry tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, LMS platforms, Prezi, Miro, PowerPoint and Word. Strong skills in managing the needs of partner departments, teams and leaders, creating project plans and achieving milestones in line with strategic priorities and resources. Demonstrates support for the company’s mission, vision and values. Expertise in both technical topics and professional skills that range from trauma informed care, burnout, healthcare workflows and artificial intelligence. Must have experience training individuals and/or groups, conducting tests or reviews of trainees, processes to evaluate quality, performance or accuracy. Knowledge of healthcare and understanding of the Colorado Medicaid, CHP, case management programs and Colorado community resources preferred. Must be a motivated self-starter and an independent worker. Must have strong time management skills, strong interpersonal skills and a strong working knowledge of power point, database and spreadsheet programs, particularly MS Office. Requires the ability to use complex processes and procedures to facilitate quality outcomes and/or resolutions.

      Licenses/Certifications : A valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance will be required for any positions that require driving.

      Pay, Perks and Benefits at Colorado Access:

      The compensation for this position is $ 88,700.00 - $110,000.00 annually. The pay rate/salary is commensurate with experience.

      Where you will work:

      This position will be a hybrid model work environment, a blend of ‘In-Office’ and ‘Remote.’

      We are not able to support out of state employees at this time as we continue to serve our members and community in the metro Denver area and across the beautiful state of Colorado.
