JUNIOR ACCESSORIES DESIGNER

For one of our Brands, we are looking for passionate Junior Designer with a strong attitude and interest to the Accessories Category, to join the Creative Studio for an enriching and challenging experience as Junior Bags & Leather Goods Designer (Men’s & Women’s Collection).

In particular, the Candidate will work with the Head Designer of Accessories (Bags & Small Leather Goods) on the following activities:
• Conduct trend research, looking for ideas on shapes, colorways, details, materials, textures, patterns, metal hardware etc;
• Design proposals and development for Collections and special projects (sketching and rendering);
• Creating Design specs using mainly adobe photoshop and illustrator;
• Maintaining and updating documentation, ensuring accuracy and attention to details;
• General support during fittings, development process meeting, collection presentations.

You will be placed within the Accessories Design Team and work closely with:

• Head Designer of Accessories (Bags and small leather goods);
• Merchandising Team;
• Staff international R&D Team for Accessories.

What skills you need to have:
• Enthusiasm, creativity, passion for Accessories Design;

• Degree in Fashion Accessories Design is required;
• 1 - 3 years’ experience in leather design and accessory construction;
• Hand sketching skills highly preferred;
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office on MAC;
• Organizational and time management skills required;
• Strong eye for color and very detail oriented;
• Technical notions about Leather Goods construction and finishing;
• Proactive and flexible approach, ability to teamwork and determination to achieve the objectives;
• Fluency in English.
