Job Description

- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and handling correspondence.
- Document Preparation: Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, contracts, and agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Legal Research: Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to assist with legal matters, including case preparation and compliance issues.
- File Management: Maintain and organize legal files, records, and databases, ensuring confidentiality and easy retrieval of information.
- Compliance Monitoring: Assist with monitoring regulatory changes and industry standards to support the company’s compliance efforts.
- Client and Vendor Liaison: Serve as a point of contact for internal and external parties regarding legal inquiries, contracts, and agreements.
- Case Support: Provide support in managing and tracking ongoing legal cases and matters, including preparing documentation and coordinating with external legal counsel as needed.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle general office duties such as scheduling, planning offsites, and scheduling reservations.
- Education: Associate’s degree or paralegal certification; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, preferably in a corporate or legal environment.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Proficiency in GoogleSuites and legal research tools.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
