What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with attorneys to draft, review, and proofread legal documents and policies
- Conduct substantive legal research and prepare legal memoranda analyzing complex issues
- Design and implement resources and training for individuals seeking expungement
- Organize and maintain legal documents in various databases and coordinate meetings
- Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence in compliance with court rules
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of three years of experience in a comparable position or law office setting
- Knowledge of legal terminology, forms, and court procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to type at least 60 words per minute
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage a heavy workload and meet multiple deadlines under pressure
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with automated case management systems
- Familiarity with Arizona State court rules and procedures
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Previous involvement in legal research or drafting complex legal documents
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with tact and diplomacy
