Assist with day-to-day corporate matters, including annual/periodic filings and registrations, drafting resolutions and various other types of corporate documentation, coordinating subsidiary board meetings, and supporting internal corporate restructurings and reorganisations
Oversee the updating of global legal entity records in the company’s Blueprint OneWorld database and work with others to update and maintain Thomson Reuters’ global group structure charts
Provide support/back-up to other Thomson Reuters paralegals and company secretaries around the world
Assist with information requests, corporate history matters and other questions
Conduct online research and due diligence
Coordinate with other Corporate departments, such as Tax, Treasury, HR and Accounting, as well as outside legal counsel and other external advisors and agents
Assist lawyers and other legal professionals in the Thomson Reuters Legal Department and outside counsel with aspects of corporate, securities and/or M&A transactions
Participate in various Thomson Reuters Legal Department special projects and initiatives
Other duties as assigned
5+ years of experience at a law firm or corporate legal department
Knowledge of LatAm corporate laws, rules and regulations
Advanced English
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Able to work independently
Able to work across boundaries as part of a global team
Experience using Blueprint OneWorld or similar company secretarial software
Excellent PC skills (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint); knowledge of Microsoft Teams, electronic signature software and document assembly software, a plus
