What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain detailed records of the company's intellectual property assets, including patents and trademarks
- Assist in conducting IP due diligence and prepare reports for stakeholders
- Coordinate communication between internal and external teams during legal proceedings
- Prepare and review IP-related documentation, including licenses and agreements
- Provide general administrative support to the IP department as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Background in Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, or Computer Science, and currently attending law school or a recent law graduate
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in intellectual property law, preferably in a biotech or life sciences environment
- Strong understanding of patent and trademark processes
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant software

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Paralegal certification is a plus
- Interest in intellectual property and IP litigation
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in biotech innovations
- Experience with IP management software and tools
