What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in managing the employer’s Outside Counsel preferred provider panel and AFA program
- Negotiate rates and monitor compliance within the employer’s e-billing system, Simple Legal
- Administer daily legal billing processes and promptly address inquiries as they arise
- Research and resolve payment process issues, including invoice reviews and account coding
- Collaborate with outside counsel to ensure adherence to Billing Guidelines and provide feedback for improvements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in outside counsel management or legal operations
- Strong consultative and customer service skills to build relationships at all levels
- Proven ability to efficiently solve problems for internal and external clients
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience with GSuite, Simple Legal, and Persuit
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- B.A. or B.S. degree preferred
- Proven track record of identifying key pain points and delivering business improvements
- Experience working independently as well as part of a team
