South College Online seeks candidates for a full-time Department Chair in Legal Studies. Successful candidates will have a minimum of a master’s degree in legal studies or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates who have successfully taught in the online format. The position is online remote and will report directly to the online Associate Campus Dean.

The Department Chair in Legal Studies will be responsible for teaching twelve (12) college-level courses annually, focusing on core subjects within the program. Additional responsibilities include managing full-time and adjunct faculty, overseeing term schedules, and implementing curriculum changes.
