Job Description
- Req#: 23196
- Develop and create new VIP leads by actively soliciting target guests through telephone calls, social media, and physical visits.
- Host activities for target guests both on and off property.
- Cold call and conduct sales presentations to potential guests by physically visiting businesses throughout target areas.
- May be required to travel outside of the Reno area to develop business.
- Will work outside of the venue at least 50% of the work week to develop business
- Maintain a minimum of $3500 in sales per week from VIP table reservations at LEX Nightclub.
- Must have a minimum of 100 guests checked in on the VIP guest list per week.
- Book a minimum of two VIP table reservations at a dinner venue on the GSR property on a weekly basis.
- Track VIP table reservations in the UrVenue Driver, including the guest’s full name, cell number and e-mail address.
- Utilize social media to generate sales of bottle service.
- Develop strategies in coordination with VIP and Junior VIP hosts to maximize table sales through communication and training.
- Prior outside sales experience required.
- Must be 21 years old
- Ability to obtain alcohol awareness card and Nevada Gaming Card
- Provide a friendly, personal, and a willingness to interact with guests
- Provide professional guest services.
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
- Aware of all property events and activities and utilizes effective communication tools to ensure that consistent, accurate and timely information is provided through the company and to potential customers.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
High School Diploma/GED required; college degree in Marketing or other related field preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a high level understanding of interpersonal skills to productively deal with business contacts and team members at all levels of the company. Possess a strong attention to detail and engaging presentation skills. Has the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, clients, and general public.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate. Attend and participate in meetings in order to be informed of new rules, regulations and procedures and to discuss scheduling and/or other concerns of the Hotel and/or department. In addition to performance of essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of functions to be determined based upon the particular needs of the Hotel.
