DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Work pattern Monday to Friday - set start times available between 10:00-14:00
• Salary £34,390 based on a 45 hour week (£14.70 per hour) Plus extra £1 per hour for work between 18:00-06:00
• Overtime and 6th shifts available at premium rates
• Multi user site incorporating a mix of retail, brewery and automotive work
• Driver will be required strap and secure loads and retail work can involve self tipping of caged products and the use of an electric pump truck
• No handball involved - brewery and automotive work has no interaction with the load
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have a MINIMUM of 3 months commercial LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) driving experience
• Live locally to Fradley Park, Lichfield WS13 8SU
• Be prepared to be flexible as this is a multi user site working on a variety of contracts
