Location: DHL Transport Development Centre - Daventry (NN6 7GW)

DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking an LGV / HGV Driver Instructor based at the TDC at DIDC2 to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Work pattern will be predominantly Mon-Fri 07:30 - 15:30
• Delivering driver instruction to new internal and external candidates from C1 - C+E
• Carry out OPS35 and OPS35A driving assessments
• Deliver Smiths Training
• Deliver slow manoeuvring training
• Deliver shunter training
• Alternative fuelled vehicle training
• DPRA - Delivery Point Risk Assessments
• Take fleet for service as required and other general duties
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times
• You will be trained to become an NRI Qualified Driver Instructor

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• You will Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• You will be currently be working for DHL as a DDA in the local area to Daventry NN6 7GW alternatively have LGV Driver Assessment or Instructor experience
• Have excellent relationship building skills and be the initial face of DHL to new starters
• Live a commutable distance from the DHL Training and Development Centre at DIRFT, Daventry
