What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement instruction for students with autism spectrum disorders and co-occurring disorders
- Utilize principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in small group settings and functional learning activities
- Monitor and report on student progress toward educational goals for grades pre-k through 12th grade
- Guide classroom support staff in educational instruction activities and intensive teaching sessions
- Attend regular meetings with the clinical team to discuss student progress and instructional strategies

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Certification as a Licensed Intervention Specialist in the State of Ohio
- 1-2 years of experience working as an Intervention Specialist or in a related field
- Understanding and application of ABA principles and procedures
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Teaching experience through field placement/student teaching and/or employment
- Experience working with students with Autism and/or Behavior Disorders
