What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide individual, couples, and group therapy services
- Maintain good standing with the licensing body in DC
- Conduct diagnostic, assessment, psychotherapy, and counseling services
- Utilize strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and computer skills
- Navigate an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for note writing and data entry
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have an LICSW or LPC licensed in good standing with the District of Columbia
- Must have a National Provider Identification Number (NPI)
- Minimum of three years post-licensure clinical experience in mental health services
- Minimum of two years providing diagnostic, assessment, psychotherapy/counseling services
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in insurance credentialing and CAQH enrollment
- Previous work history in a private practice environment
- Familiarity with Amerihealth MCO coverage and commercial insurance
- Exceptional knowledge of mental health services and treatments
